With what remains
This series of three Ikebana has been realized with trashed objects, composed in order to give them a new meaning and aesthetic value.
Ikebana
Recycled trash, ceramic / viariable dimensions
2017
With that raw material you found on the beach and did lay on your terrace for over a year and your mother kept on saying "c'mooon let's trash it" and you kept on replying "no mum, I will do something with it one day!"...well that day finally came alongside coronavirus, the 17th of march 2020.
Quarantine must be that weird moment that transforms free time into something timeless, to the limit of the non-existent.
Unexisting time to use doing those things you've been postponing for months...years...probably because they needed exactly this kind of time to exist.
