While facing a moment of painful loss with the attempted to overcome the feeling of not-knowing through travelling and experiencing a new land.

Rita is someone with whom I spent fifteen minutes of my life.
I had never seen her before and I will probably never see her again.
However, the context of our meeting caused us to interact and exchange about our beings and experiences.
Following a series of reflections given by the moment I was living in and crossing the territory surrounding Costigliole d'Asti, it seemed obvious to me the need to convey a very simple, even cheesy, message through a work dedicated to Rita in wording but to anyone in practice.

The Mapping perceptions of a collective space project was developed in the context of the Summer School organised by the Leštnice Collective and taking place in Maříž (CZ) in August 2023.

This year's Summer School delved into the topic of social architecture via workshops in sound, building, and storytelling.

Activities encompassed foraging, cooking, bookmaking, and the re-inhabiting of the forgotten village of Leštnice.

Conceptually designed together with Ida Zahradnik and physically accomplished with Pauline Hosse-Hartmann, the aim of this project is to create a collection of perceptions of the same physical context, such as Maříž, by all its, temporary or permanent, inhabitants.

Giving birth to a collective body where respective perceptions are influenced by each one's background, reflections around space and points of view can be generated by observing the whole.
